Ian Hoffer is President of AURORA Sound & Light Design LLC. With 22+ years of experience in designing state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems for both interior and exterior nightclub spaces, Ian’s expertise is sought after by many of the nation’s hottest nightclubs. In 2012, Ian’s company won Live Design Magazine’s Excellence Award in the Club/Lounge category for designing systems for Rumor, a world-class nightclub in Philadelphia. Garnering frequent media mentions and invitations to complete major installations, Ian built his brand by delivering unsurpassed lighting and sound systems. As a frequent global traveler, he developed a unique, international perspective gained by researching nightclubs all around the world. He received graduate training from New York University (NYU) and completed undergraduate programs in both the United States and Thailand. Through continuing education, Ian stays abreast of leading-edge equipment and technologies. He is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) and a proud member of INFOCOMM.
